 Description
Once upon a time, Vasilis and Sophia Drakou, enchanted by the sunset and the lacy coasts of the Libyan sea, decided to build their house and their tavern on the slope of a rocky hill, where nature’s sculptural games soften the rocks. The owners, by asking their elders, learnt how to knead and bake sour-dough bread, how to make rusks, and how to cultivate vegetables. Guests can enjoy ladopsomo, xigalo, staka, stuffed courgette flowers, cheese pies and a large variety of traditional appetizers. The grill, which is located outside the tavern, is open from noon till late at night, pleasantly tempting the guests’ senses. Yogurt and fruit preserved in syrup completes an excellent meal. Our ambition is to make you part of our fairytale and make the Cretan Diet your way of life. |  |
