 Description
Mochlos, a place for peaceful and relaxed vacations. This is where we are, maintaining one of the oldest taverns of the area.
The tavern was recently renovated and adapted the requirements of the sanitary code for the safe keeping and preparation of our dishes. We have created three tasteful and different spaces; “Sala” is an area with traditional furniture, a fireplace, embroidery, old tools and various photographs of the region. The front yard is located next to the sea with a view of the sunrise from Kastelas and the Minoan settlement on the small island opposite. For the romantics, there is a back yard, by the sea with a view of Trachilas at sunset. We select pure and local products and virgin olive oil and we prepare various traditional recipes with vegetables, legumes, meats and seafood caught at the rich rocky gulf of Mirampelo. Our cellar includes a wide variety of local bottled or house wines. |  |
