In the centre of the old city of Rethymno, next to the folklore museum and the conservatory with the turkish minaret, lies the centre of our substance (translation of the greek noun ‘ουσία’)… Clear of prejudice and protocols we dived deep in our grandmothers’ recipes, stirred in some of the present day, added a few drops of love and an excessive amount of healthy appetite so we can proudly offer you the exquisite result we came up with. Against all of today’s touristic frenzy which promotes haste and opportunism, we insist on ‘internationality’, meaning ‘greek’. Tables packed with small plates full of substance. Mezes and Spirits… Plenty of small talk and teasing in a picturesque alley packed with life during the summer and next to the fireplace during winter, in anticipation of the first sunshine. Taste our raki with honey, our wines and the best greek ouzo. Above all, please allow us the pleasure of treating you with a glass of raki in the end… |  |
